Susan McPartland

lavendarSusan McPartland brings years of experience in all facets of Marketing and Promotion Services execution.

In the early years of Susan’s career at Green Giant she was involved with the printing of promotional sales pieces, worked in the customer service area, was the inventory manager in Promotions and Advertising, and worked with the Green Giant truck fleet.

Susan being a high performance individual was promoted repeatedly within The Pillsbury Company. Susan managed the facility staff and it’s multi-million dollars of inventory at the Pillsbury Fulfillment Center, before moving to headquarters in Minneapolis. As a part of her role as Promotion Services Manager Susan recommended, designed, and procured millions of promotional gift items for all brands including Pillsbury, Doughboy, Green Giant, Sprout, Old El Paso, Progresso Soup, and Haagen Dazs. She has a keen eye for detail and the ability to meet marketing objectives by recommending, designing, and purchasing the appropriate promotion items. Being process driven, meeting strict deadlines, and being fiscally responsible made her an intricate part of the cross-functional result oriented business teams. Susan’s ability to provide vendor management and leadership insured flawless execution of promotional events.

Susan was at the ground floor of developing a multimillion-dollar continuity program, The Doughboy Store that rewarded consumers with logo merchandise for purchasing product and saving Doughboy points. Susan worked hand in hand collaborating with Ad agencies and Marketing teams to create some of the most effective promotional programs and events. Susan played key roles in grand scale events that include The Pillsbury Bake-Off®, Pillsbury Kids’ Bake-Off, Giggle Off™, Green Giant 75th Anniversary, as well as The Doughboy Store.

At General Mills, Susan applied her experience in Promotions to contribute to trademark licensing efforts. Using her organizations skills she managed the details of the licensing contracts and acted as negotiator, and liaison between the legal council, the Licensor Director and the Licensee. Her experience in brand management acted as a compass to seek strategic licensing partners with products that supported the brand essence. Susan played the role of educator, & collaborator to partner with the licensees to provide information and ideas to bring success to the relationship.
